Until 1970, womens underwear served only one purpose and their purpose was that of functionality. Their job was purely for the protection and cleanliness of the outerwear.
They were neither sexy nor functional, but by the 1960’s Fredericks of Hollywood started to glamorize lingerie. Lingerie has now gone from a full body concept, to embrace the barest and prettiest of essentials. We’ve come a long way baby!!!!!
