The World’s billionaires - If you haven’t read this fascinating article, do so. It is interesting to at least see where the money was made from, and if there is any hope for the rest of us.
Oprah is not on the list — Whaaaaat??? but Monaco has only one billionaire who has only “1 billion” while the richest man in the US has 62 billion and he made the list.
A coupe of things struck me as interesting - majority appear to have inherited the money (especially the US based billionaires.), but most others seem to have worked really hard and ingenously to earn all the that cash. I ain’t mad at y’all!!
There are only a handful of billionairettes - which shows that nothing much has changed in that area.
Russia has more billionaires than any other country with the exception of the US.
For the first time ever, two black Africans (South Africa and Nigeria) made the list- Aliko Dangote of Nigeria sells everything from Macaroni to cement. Kudos to them.
Anyway, most of them look really beat up and old (sour grapes) so lets find out how to go about making our million and we’ll be just fine.

Winter’s super-polished femmes fatales are making way for girly girls, as ruffles and frills take centre stage this season.
Whether it’s delicate millefeuille dresses at John Galliano, tiered miniskirts at Luella or Lanvin’s rippled silk necklines, spring’s collections are pretty, pretty, pretty.
Inherently dressy, ruffled frocks work well as evening wear. But while they looked good on models on the catwalk, for most of us, restricting ruffles to separates will be more wearable and just as striking.
Flimsy, frilled blouses can be toughened up with a leather skirt, and a ruffled mini works well dressed down with flats and a tailored jacket. Alternatively, follow Burberry’s lead and temper with chunky high heels and a patent belt.
With so many ways to wear the trend, there is bound to be a look for you. And, with ruffles aplenty featuring in the next autumn/winter collections, it’s one to invest in.
