Kanye rocks Vuitton

“Psst, check ‘em out, check ‘em out, nice handbags, we’ll set you up,” an ominous hooded figure hissed, greeting guests, including Linda Evangelista, at Louis Vuitton’s gala on Thursday.
The affair kicked off the Takashi Murakami exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, and the hooded figure was referring to 10 street vendors selling real multicolored Vuitton bags. “It looks like a bazaar, it’s hysterical,” Evangelista said.
Marc Jacobs arrived with Eva Herzigova, with whom he had shot Vuitton’s fall campaign earlier in the day. “I never bought a fake anything, not a fake tooth, a fake suit or a fake Coca-Cola,” Jacobs professed. “I am 100 percent real.”
Post-dinner, guests grabbed their Murakami place mats and filed into an adjacent hall, where Kanye West heated up the crowed with a live performance.

UPDATE: NAOMI PLEADS GUILTY, GETS COMMUNITY SERVICE
My girl Naomi has done it again. Naomi Campbell was arrested and thrown off a British Airways jet ysterday. What! Naomi, you fly commercial??.
I love Naomi but isn’t she getting too old for this “bad” diva behaviour. Being a diva is all well and fantastic but there is the good diva and the bad diva. Naomi, this is disgraceful but we still love you anyway. Remember OJ Simpson?, they will eventually get you if you keep this up and I don’t think you will do well in prison.
If you don’t know, Ms. Campbell was arrested in T5 at Heathrow Airport ( also known as Deathrow) for allegedly spitting on a cop and being abusive to staff. Okay the latter part (being abusive) is normal for Naomi but the spitting on the cop?? Remember Zsa Zsa - the diva thing sometimes comes to a screeching stop with cops.
It was not the first time that the model had been involved in a disruption at Heathrow.
In September she was reportedly seen swearing at airline staff in front of dozens of passengers after being told she could not board her flight to New York because she arrived just 11 minutes before take-off.
She also allegedly lost her temper in Bogota airport in Columbia in 2005 after bags containing her designer dresses and shoes were mistakenly sent to Houston, Texas. The model, who had just flown in from New York, threatened to get on the next flight out of the country if the problem was not sorted out.

Watch out Suze Orman!!! Here comes “You’re so Money”Live rich even when you are not by Farnoosh Torabi.

This is a book that is going to make my reading list this month. Apparently good sources tell us it shoud have been entitled “How to have your cake and eat it too”. Anything that promotes eating cake cannot be all that bad for you- can it??, okay maybe.
This isn’t a technical book about finance. Torabi is carving out her niche as the go-to friend-expert for questions about how to tailor your finances to your larger goals and values. The idea, she said, in a recent interview with her college newspaper is to get people to think about their lives. “But not like I want an iPod. But like core values. Do you want a family? Is work your No. 1? Do you want to live in the city?”
And Torabi isn’t going to wag her finger at you. “I’m not here to tell you how to run your life, but I’m here to ask you how you want to run your life.”
The book has gotten accolades from heavy-hitters like Jim Cramer, the opinionated host of MSNBC’s Mad Money, and David Bach the New York Times bestselling author of Start Late, Finish Rich.
But, perhaps, one of the more telling blurbs is one by a peer. Ben Lerer, co-founder of Thrillist.com wrote, “Farnoosh Torabi’s book is a hilarious must-read for anyone who wants to live like a king, even if he’s just a lowly serf with nothing in his bank account but blighted turnips, and, like, $3000.”
Get yours!
