I love reading and also love word creativity. As a matter of fact, I know someone who is really really good at it. She makes up new words for things she can’t remember. This led us to discussing words that truly have made their way into the language. Words that are so completely wrong but so right irregardless of what you think , which happens to be todays word of the day.
Def: Without lack of disregard.
Joey: Irregardless, she’s a
batch.
Beth: Irregardless isn’t even a word.
Joey: Yes, it is. It means without lack of disregard.
Check out the Urban Dictionary -the words are in there. If its in there, its a real word. Is it??
Also, we must remember to touchbase : To make contact; to cover all the possibilities. Comes from baseball where the runners need to touch the base to make a run legal. Mostly used by asshat salesmen and contractors when they want to talk to you over the phone to see if you’re interested in something they have for sale, usually around dinner time.
“I’m just calling to Touch Base to see if you need our crappy product/service.”
“No, Leave me alone.”
Anyway, if you would like to conversate : to talk, discuss or converse
- Ebonics version of the intransitive verb “converse”; urban hybrid of the two words “converse” and “conversation”
Conversate for a few, cause in a few, we gon’ do
What we came to do, ain’t that right boo (truuuueee)
Notorious B.I.G. - Big Poppa – 1994
WORD OUT!!! … to exit a conversation, opposite to Word Up. Peace out y’all.

Banish the badonkadonkdonk! Say no to porno chic! Say no to ho! And yes to Eccentric Glamour.
Have you ever seen a tackier bunch of women than the “Housewives of Orange County? It hurts just to look at them. Almost as much as it hurts to look at Priscilla Presley. I don’t even think a makeover can help anymore. There are so many women who look like this out there, you begin to wonder if there is a factory churning them out. There is!- the plastic surgeons of Miami and LA. Stop!!!!! Ughhh, Yuck! why would anybody want to look like that and who are the men who find them attractive?
When Simon Doonan made his appearance on early ANTM, I loved him, he made the girls cry. One of them was wearing something that closely resembled her countrys’ flag - I think she was from Jamaica. Its a flag, not a fashion inspiration. Now he’s written yet another book, check out “Nasty” and Wacky Chicks” - Life Lessons from Fearlessly Inappropriate and Fabulously EccentricWomen. His new book is entitled “Eccentric Glamour: Creating an Insanely More Fabulous You.’ Great title but apparently his face-on message is “Say no to ho and yes to eccentric glamour”
He says“You run into an old acquaintance. You are unable to recall her name. Is it Eva? Yes! But, having undergone some kind of grotesque transformation, dear old Eva is barely recognizable. She used to look like Melanie Griffith in Working Girl. Now, thanks to her fake hair extensions, fake nails, fake spray tan, fake lips, and fake boobs, she looks like a cross between Britney Spears, Mrs. Gastineau (the mother), and a blow-up doll. “Goodness me!” you manage to say, “Don’t you look stunning! I mean it. I’m totally stunned.”
Many of your peers have opted—with the help of liposuction, collagen, and a great deal of sass—for the Eva route. As a result, they now resemble a bunch of aging Bratz dolls. That boobs ‘n’ bleach ‘n’ Botox makeover is standard for any woman seeking to reinvent herself.

Thank you Mr. Doonan! Please make them cry.

Everytime I run out of my tried, true and trusted expensive beauty products, I tend to go back to the well priced items and find that they are actually quite good. More than good , you can lengthen the life of the expensive stuff. One such product I discovered on my counter is Avon Anew. Ignore the age stuff on it. If you use it now, you wont age.

Its a great mosituriszer that works, does not leave a residue. I am also in the middle of my Retin A regimen and it combats the dryness like nothing I have ever used.
It does not help that I have a friend who’s an Avon lady and everytime she drops off a catalog, I am always, always tempted and I always buy.

A mere $15.00 and you know it works.
I also discovered the hand lotion which contains Retin A. Never mind me, its always all or nothing.
This Vitamin C serum, I am never without. My goal with skincare is to be able to go out without makeup. Okay, maybe just a dab of lipstick.

Really good stuff, I tell you. Then they give you deals!!! Now I have to check out the Princess merchandise.
