The Urban dictionary - a great way to conversate.
I love reading and also love word creativity. As a matter of fact, I know someone who is really really good at it. She makes up new words for things she can’t remember. This led us to discussing words that truly have made their way into the language. Words that are so completely wrong but so right irregardless of what you think , which happens to be todays word of the day.
Beth: Irregardless isn’t even a word.
Joey: Yes, it is. It means without lack of disregard.

Also, we must remember to touchbase : To make contact; to cover all the possibilities. Comes from baseball where the runners need to touch the base to make a run legal. Mostly used by asshat salesmen and contractors when they want to talk to you over the phone to see if you’re interested in something they have for sale, usually around dinner time.
“I’m just calling to Touch Base to see if you need our crappy product/service.”
“No, Leave me alone.”

- Ebonics version of the intransitive verb “converse”; urban hybrid of the two words “converse” and “conversation”

The urban dictionary is full of racist comments, I was just doing a search online that included the word Mexican, I ended up going to this web site and I was very upset at the comments posted there. I found racist comments against Mexicans, Hispanics, Latinos, Blacks, Asians but surprisingly nothing against Whites/Caucasians. Not only is it racist but there is also hate against homosexuals and women are degraded in many of the word descriptions.
I understand that there are valid and useful words that one can find there but is the purpose of the site to be informative or to become a forum where anything goes? Many expressions are just made up and I have never heard anyone use them. It seems like some people just make up their own words or expressions to promote hate exhibit their ignorance.
This site has awful people to moderate if needed . As i am going through solicitors this week about a post about me which is abusive and personal . I play a game someone dont like me but is this a reason to advertise mine my boyfriends and 7 yr old daughters real name and advertise my pregnancy in such a cruel way . Have been trying get it removed for nearly 2 weeks now as i feel my daughters name in same bit as sex and weirdos is against there rules and feel a real family shouldnt be abused in this matter . You can search my game name wildvamp to understand what i am talking about . Anyone else had this problem ?
