Kate Moss for Topshop
Akris customers appear to be bucking the ailing economy, ringing up $1 million in sales during a three-day fall trunk show last week at Bergdorf Goodman.
Akris Resort CALVN KLEIN - Forget dramatic, celebrity-packed shows. For resort, Francisco Costa, the creative director of Calvin Klein Collection, opted for an intimate showroom presentation. The only famous face that stood out in the crowd, in fact, was that of Ashley Olsen, who has been a fan of the designer for years. Costa has found his stride blending Klein’s minimalism and his own sexy edge. Inspired by a book of reptiles this season, he created texture in his delicate dresses by manipulating fabrics through splitting and pleating — all in a muted color palette.
We are a tad biased on this post but Gwyneth, you absolutely get it right!!!! This is how you do it!
You do the era thing quite deliciously. Grecian dresses and Gladiators. Thats what we’re talking ’bout!!!
She’s baaaaccck! And you thought Heather Mills was a lunatic. The ranting Tricia Walsh Smith who is on a verbal rampage because her husband is cuttting her of from his millions. Now, in a 3rd video, she says she has received support from women all over world and wants Women Warriors of the World to unite. She has set up a paypal account in which she wants people to donate $1 each. Watch Video 1. Do you think this is why Madonna came back to the US? Amy Winehouse and friends too much for her?
I dont know about you but this woman is bonkers - possibly inspired by her screenplay. She is $100,000 in debt, and is now practising a rather sophisticated form of begging. She has an excuse for everything people throw at her. My favorite is her “father complex” as a response to why she married someone so old. No, Tricia, where we come from, its called Gold-digging. Video 2
It is believed the couple separated last year after Mrs Walsh-Smith complained to a U.S. gossip writer that her husband gave her a weekly allowance of just £200. Mr Smith is president of the Shubert Organisation, the largest owner of theatres on Broadway.
Tricia even gives an e-mail address where you can start sending funds. “Women of the world,” she says with heavy seriousness, “if I win, you win.”
