If there ever was a person who could give Paris Hilton a run for her money by staying in the headlines, it’s Naomi. That lady should start her own PR company, oh wait! she did already, didn’t she?
TO coincide with the season finale of Ugly Betty, which will be screened in the US today, the softball strip that Naomi Campbell wears in the episode is being auctioned for charity.
The philanthropically-minded supermodel has signed the outfit and donated it US charity Clothes Off Our Backs, which will put it under the hammer today to raise money for children’s charities, CONTACTMUSIC.COM reports.
The show’s fans are awaiting Campbell’s cameo appearance with bated breath. Little information about the character she plays has been released, although she did reveal she enjoyed shooting her scenes - and hit the ball so hard it broke in half.
DOLCE & GABBANA
DOLCE & GABBANA is the latest label to fall victim to one of London’s notorious smash-and-grab gangs.
In a typical sting (of which the likes of Luella, Anya Hindmarch, Salvatore Ferragamo and FrostFrench have already fallen foul), robbers on scooters smashed through the glass front door of its Old Bond Street boutique late on Monday evening and helped themselves to thousands of pounds worth of handbags and accessories before speeding off.
Police are investigating the incident - which is the sixth in the past three weeks - and are already believed to have made a number of arrests, according to the Evening Standard.

MORE ON NAOMI CAMPBELL
Naomi picks a conman as her date to Cannes gala. Did she know this? The model was at the centre of fevered gossip again last night as she took a convicted con artist as her date to Cannes.
The star turned up at the Cannes Film Festival looking angelic in a sequin-sprinkled Dolce & Gabbana gown, but the man on her arm belied her heavenly appearance. Her date? Christophe Rocancourt - a French-born imposter who conned affluent investors out of hundreds of thousands of pounds by using various aliases.
His outrageous cons have seen him pretend to be the son of Hollywood legend Sophia Loren, and a Gallic relative of the American society family Rockefeller.
After moving to America at 24, he befriended martial arts star Jean-Claude Van Damme and lived with Mickey Rourke.
In 2001, Christophe and his now ex-wife, former Playboy model Pia Reyes, were arrested in Canada and charged with defrauding an elderly couple. Pia was later released without charge after pleading her innocence with the scam. The following year, Christophe was extradited to New York where he pled guilty to three of 11 different charges including theft, grand larceny, smuggling, bribery and perjury.
He was accused of defrauding a total of 19 people. He admitted three counts of fraud to avoid the maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. He was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay back his victims $1.2 million each.
What we want to know, is how did he hook up with Naomi?

Now in Givency, we rest our case. Natalie, Ease up on the ruffles. We already know how cute you are, you don’t need cutesy ruffles to drive the point home.
