H&M TO JOIN FORCES WITH MATTHEW WILLIAMSON
H&M said Matthew Williamson would create a women’s collection for April 23 delivery, followed by another range for women and men in mid-May.
An H&M spokeswoman said the “exclusive” women’s range would be carried in about 200 stores, with the second delivery slated for all of its 1,700 stores. (WWD)
KIM CATRALL POSES NUDE AS DIANA FOR AN ARTY CAUSE
Kim Catrall sheds her clothes for Art to save a valuable artwork, the Titian masterpiece Diana and Actaeon.
BBC Two’s The Culture Show teamed up with artist and photographer Tom Hunter to create a modern-day version of the artwork. The Culture Show challenged Hunter to create a 21st century version of the painting after he came out in support of the campaign to raise £50million to keep it on public display in Britain.
The National Galleries in London and Edinburgh have until December to raise the money or its owner, the Duke of Sutherland, might sell it on the open market. To highlight the supreme beauty of this painting Tom has recreated the masterpiece in a modern day setting with Kim Cattrall as Diana, David O’Mer (otherwise known as La Clique’s Bath Boy) as Actaeon, while art students from the Courtauld Institute and other members of La Clique play Diana’s nymphs
For the recreation, Cattrall posed alongside the cast of cult cabaret production La Clique; David O Mer, Fiona Anderson, Anna Harnden, Alexandra Roy, Ursula Martinez, Gemma Rolls-Bentley, Kimberly Williams and Yulia Pykhtina.
