Jourdan Dunn wins Model of the year…. Bartley wins Designer of the year at UK fashion awards.
The best of British talent turned out for the British Fashion Awards, which was hosted by Mariella Frostrup and sponsored by Swarovski, on Tuesday.
Designer of the year went to Luella Bartley while Christopher Bailey, creative director for Burberry, was named Menswear Designer of the Year for the second year running.
The Designer Brand award went to Jimmy Choo, the global shoe empire headed by Tamara Mellon, while the young shoe-maker, Rupert Sanderson, received the Accessory ‘Oscar’.
Model of the Year for Jourdan Dunn, who, in February, 2008, became the first black model in 10 years to walk in a Prada catwalk show, since Naomi.
British Fashionistas were plentiful in attendance and lot of British fashion quirkiness on display.
