Don’t even write anything down, as this will only get more confusing. As you may have read from earlier posts, Vera Wang, Betsey Johnson, Donna Karan are all not showing at Bryant Park. That was then, this is now. Tommy Hilfiger is doing something altogether different. He is returning to Bryant Park. Tommy HIlfiger is returning his show to the tents for the first time in three years after showing off-site at Avery Fisher Hall in past seasons.

All we know is that between the credit crunch, consumer confidence and all that recession stuff, we’ll just wait and see who shows!

TEMPERLEY TO STAGE ITS OWN MOBILE FASHION SHOW:

We said don’t write anything down, at least not in pen. Temperley London will be staging a roaming fashion exhibition. Video artists and photographers put together a series of installations in New York, London, and Paris to accompany the Temperley clothes.

“From an economic and environmental point of view, it has become more and more difficult to support the constant global travel schedule for fashion sellers, buyers, and press,” said Lars von Bennigsen, CEO of Temperley London.

Yeah, and it’s a bear market.
